Steady Communication: 4 Tips

Raindrops falling.

Businesses and organizations vastly underestimate the power of steady communication. People want to know you’re still there.

Here are four quick tips for how to do it:

  • Steady, not frequent: You’re overwhelmed and marketing is last on your list. No problem. It doesn’t have to be frequent, it just has to be steady. If monthly sounds impossible, do it every other month or quarterly.
  • Put it on the calendar: Block off time on your calendar to so you can put out those steady updates. Especially if your plan is less than monthly, you’re going to forget.
  • Make it easy: You’re already having trouble communicating, so make it as easy as possible. The less you have to write and create, the better. It could be as simple as taking a photo of your message sign.
  • Bank posts: Especially if you have content that isn’t time sensitive, bank it and queue it up. You could even sit down and do a year’s worth of posts at once. Schedule your posts ahead of time and then sit back and relax.

I see lots of businesses struggle to stay connected, but it doesn’t have to be that hard.
