I’m the kind of person who writes the year wrong in dates well into February of a new year. But it’s a much bigger oops when I wrote the wrong year in a headline in July. And I didn’t just do the previous year, but three years before. What?!

We all make mistakes. It happens. Even to an editor who makes his living catching other people’s mistakes.
Sometimes you have to admit your mistakes, laugh it off, and move on. Nobody’s perfect, and pretending to be is exhausting.
