Sunday's Competition

Sunday Abby entered me in an obedience competition. Some of it was good, but some of it was not good.

Here's the good parts:
1. I took 4th place in the pre-novice round.
2. Sandy was the judge and she is my favorite human at school.
3. I won a new toy.
4. My off-leash heels were freakin' awesome.
5. Everyone said I was the cutest dog out there.

Here's the not so good parts:
1. Abby wimped out and ran me through the Novice A round as non-qualifiying. That means she didn't think I was smart enough to remember everything she taught me.
2. They made me lay down next to a husky for the down stays. I HATE huskies. Especially this one. He wouldn't stop staring at me and howling. It was so damn annoying. So I got up to find a different spot. Then Abby came and told me to go back and lay down. So I did. Then the husky started up again. So, I thought to my self, "Forget this. I'm just going to lay down in the middle of the ring and I don't care what Abby says." Which is exactly what I did.
3. The judge took too long to come over to me for the stand/stay, so I sat down while I waited. Apparently you can't be comfortable in competition.
4. Having to get up at 7 in the freakin' morning and only get half my breakfast.

Okay, so there were more goods than bads, and Abby was laughing and talking a lot with her people friends, and I got to hang with my buddy Harley who is just cool, and Sydney, who is this big tough chick of a pit bull who thinks I'm cool cuz I wear a studded collar.
