Understanding God's Will by Lake, Kyle
Filed under: Spirituality | Buy on Amazon
Don’t be scared away by the boring title.
The concept of God’s will is one of the biggest clichés in the church with its own pile of misconceptions. And a murky concept becomes even murkier when the author is killed in a freak electrocution accident while performing a baptism. In light of his death this book becomes that much more intriguing.
Understanding God's Will is about redefining the concept of God’s will and focusing less on the destination and more on the journey. It takes some of the stress out of the big decisions in life and gives us hope in times of greatest tragedy. And it might just give you a better understanding of God. It might make you laugh, too, which isn't bad for a book with such a boring title.
More:
Read an excerpt based on Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose" (NRSV).
