The Prodigal Summer by Kingsolver, Barbara
Filed under: Fiction | Buy on Amazon
Finally, a convincing argument for the interconnectedness of nature and humanity that doesn't come off as tree-hugging environmentalism.
As she did in The Poisonwood Bible, Kingsolver interweaves differing points of view, giving the reader different perspectives on the intersection of farm life and wildlife.
While it didn't grip me as much as The Poisonwood Bible, it was still captivating--the kind of book you wish wouldn't end.
