Who Let the Blogs Out? by Stone, Biz

Filed under: Business | Buy on Amazon

Aside from its woefully lame title, it actually gives a decent overview of the blogging phenomenon.

Biz Stone has been involved from the beginning, working for a number of Internet start-ups and, most recently, Google as a "senior specialist for blogging" (do you think Stone ever wanted to register www.stone.biz?).

The book is full of good ideas and some decent thought and research, but it's also a very fluffly book. It's easily digestible, but not exactly thick and meaty. In some ways Stone's writing style is very much like a blog, which rather than make things boring actually keeps it moving.

Too bad it's a book and doesn't actually have hyperlinks and all the things that make blogging cool. If you don't know anything about blogs or want to be reminded about their potential, it's worth reading.
