What's So Amazing About Grace (visual edition) by Yancey, Philip

Filed under: Picture Books | Buy on Amazon

This tiny book is overloaded with gripping photos, funky type and arresting illustration. It's a visual translation of Philip Yancey's best-selling book and helps cement the concept with a minimum of words.

"Amazing grace / how sweet the sound / that saved a wretch like me," -- and the words "like me" are repeated next to pictures of Mother Theresa, Britney Spears, Billy Graham, and Bill Clinton. Amazing grace indeed.

The visual punch gives an added impact to Yancey's words, though you'd be remiss not to read the real thing.
