I admire the soul that is put into their songs. The lyrics are honest and sincere and so I can relate to them. Listening to their songs helps me through a lot as I am sure they help the members of the band as well. The songs also help me to think more clear and positive. Two girls, one with straight blonde hair and one with curly brown hair, stood outside and sang along. We were thrilled we got to see you, I think you were the only one in the band that noticed us. Your show for that night (Dec 8) was sold out, we were going to go. It was my last day of exams (U of Toronto), and we've met and watched Turn Off the Stars several times, so we really wanted to go. if u ever read this post id just like to tell u this story. Well Im Angolan but i came here to Portugal(Europe) when I was about 3 years old. well i gave my life to christ when i was about 4 almost 5. like one week be4 my b-day(April 16th im 13) well, i grew up in a christian home with a good strong christian home(still praying for my dadºs salvation apreciate if u would too) ive gone to american schools since 1rst grade so thats how i know how to speak english. well i have never had a best friend or somebody that is always there for me(as a friend, except Jesus and my mom) and so that led to peer pressure. i wanted to be cool to be excepted. and there were times when id do horrible things against God( not like stealing or anythin just inside things lying, cheating, bad thoughts, horrible attitudes) i wanted to be someone else. evry oen of my girlfriends had boyfriends and to this day no guy has ever payed attention to me. well GOd tryed to get my attention for my whole 6th grade. well i didnt waant to listen. until he had to come hard on me. a pastor one day at camp talked about hell and how our bad attitudes can lead us straight to there. reminded us how Jesus suffered so much and i just broke down and started crying begging 4 forgiveness(it was like i accept Jesus into my heart all over again) and to this day my relantionship with God has grown powerfully. but the problems never stop coming you know. i had to face the problem of going to a new school. a christian ont but still u dont know enybody yet. well im not used to moving im usually teh veteran in school and at church. but i was going to be a new student. and i suffered. no friends. i mean ppl talked to me but i didnt have somebody that like the same things that i did and i was loneley alright. I just recently became ur fan like a few days ago. why? well the way that I heard about u was such a God-thing u know? well i usually take rides to school with another family and they just happened to slip the beautiful letdown in. and i usualy dont liek rock(i do listen to it but like its not me) well im not allowed to listen to non-xristain music, so I thought u were non-xristian but i just fell in love with ur music altogether. and every day for about 2 weeks they played it. and i actually prayed about it and two days later i was told u were xristians and i was so happy. i reaserched u on the net and i got learning to breath and the beautiful letdown. and as i listened to teh lyrics each day they gave me the encoregment to move on through my lonely days. and soon enough God did bring freinds to me. still workin on it but ur music has helped me come closer to God in order to pray and have friends. the credit goes to God(no offesence) but u come second. Jon u are the best songwriter on earth and tim u play a mean bass! God also gave me the gift of singing and even though im onle 13 i feel that adreline to go out and be missionary ive always liked traveling so maybe i will tour around teh world and with my voice(singing) proclame Godºs glory. i admire both o fu soo much and chad and jerome! Tim im sorry to brake this bu ti admire u the most for some reason. u look so young, even though ure not that young but by what u say in some interviews has hit me hard. ure wife is pretty lucky to have yah. ill pray to get a husband liek u godly, generous, a smile on ur face always. great voice too!
