The Foursquare Church

The Foursquare ChurchMonkey Outta Nowhere started working with The Foursquare Church, an international charismatic Christian denomination based in Los Angeles, in 2003 with Advance magazine. In 2004 we offered more content services by interviewing a series of pastors and drafting text for a church planter's brochure. For their 2004 annual convention we developed a series of ten stories about miraculous events to be featured on the web site and sent out in postcards.

In 2005 Monkey Outta Nowhere signed on to help oversee a major overhaul of Foursquare.org, the denomination's main site for leaders, and at the same time develop FoursquareChurch.org, a site for lay people and visitors. We spearheaded the project, working with Foursquare staff members, the design firm Personality and tech firm Enthusiast to pull it off (read Enthusiast's take on the project).

Monkey Outta Nowhere continues to provide ongoing support, including proofing and copyediting, press releases, and developing and overseeing new phases of the web sites.

In 2007 Monkey Outta Nowhere helped with the communications strategy for the youth event the Foursquare NextGen Summit '07, to be held December 29-31 in Anaheim, Calif. Our work includes managing the web site, writing copy for all the marketing materials and coordinating and planning various communication efforts, from YouTube to direct mail.
