  "I loved being there," Christy says about her birthplace, the African country of Zambia. With a rich culture, warm people and giraffes running wild in nearby parks, who wouldn't love it? Christy Peed, now 18, lived in Zambia from birth to age 12, thanks to her missionary parents. But last year Christy proved her love for Zambia with the help of ten classmates and the entire student body of Wheaton Academy in Wheaton, Illinois.
