X-Men 3 Trailer

The trailer for X-Men 3 is now up. Go check it out in all of its mutated, Patrick Stewart goodness.

There's something about the X-Men movies I really get into. I think it might be the ensemble cast and the fact that we don't have to focus on one self-involved weenie (I liked Spiderman 2, but sometimes Peter Parker is just a weenie). We have a whole cast of characters going through similar--yet completely different--transitions. We're not limited to one or even four heroes. And it also gives a plausible explanation to continually introduce new characters. Their can only be so many radioactive accidents to create all those villains.

Anyway, May 26--I know where I'll be.

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 Trailer

Jack is back. The trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is now available, the first of at least two sequels which will come out in the summer of 2006 and 2007.

Pretty impressive for a movie based on a ride.
