Sleepover

Filed under: Family | Buy on Amazon

This is the most junior high movie ever.

The high school romantic-comedy is one thing, but this flick featured 8th graders trying to be like high schoolers and in the process managing to appeal only to elementary school kids. It was girly, predictable, and had more sexuality than the 8th-grade characters should have experienced. The sheer volume of high school cliches was also astounding.

So why did I even watch it? Under much protest it became one of the "rent 3 at 99 cents each" DVDs, and I stuck it out to the end because it was so humorously awful.
