American Package Museum
"To preserve and display specimens of American package design from the early decades of the 20th Century." Now there's a lofty goal. Despite the seeming uselessness, the images on this site are classic. 142 old school designs, and even a few 3D views of select products.

American Memory: Panoramic Photos
The Library of Congress has a collection of historic panoramic photos from 1851-1991. High quality images are available, as well as just about any location. The panoramas of major cities over time allow you to see how things have changed.
In St. Paul, for example, you can see a couple early photos where Harriet Island is clearly still an island (1, 2).
