This reminds me of a book we saw at Barnes & Noble this weekend that talks about all of the Christian meaning in Star Wars - it works to a point, but it mostly comes across as a really big, awkward, at times ridiculous, stretch.

That said, aren't televangelists kind of like the Gungans of Christianity? The guy who wrote that Star Wars book shoulda thought of that.
