About Us:
Monkey Outta Nowhere loves content. Like monkeys at a typewriter, we crank out the prose. We've provided a variety of services for designers and creative agencies, nonprofit organizations, Christian ministries, and small to medium sized businesses.
Taking information and putting it in a consistent, digestible, and fun format is what drives us. That may be an article, an e-mail newsletter, or a blog. It might even be tips for how to photocopy body parts in the instructions for a copier. But no matter the medium, writing has a purpose, and we like to see words do what they're supposed to do.
Monkey Outta Nowhere: We're trained to write, edit & roller-skate.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's with the name?
That's what everyone wants to know. We first heard the expression from a mid-90s animated cartoon, The Tick, which aired on Fox Kids during Saturday mornings (reruns were later aired on Comedy Central and Fox tried a short-lived live action version). The Tick actually started as a New England Comics creation by Ben Edlund.
In one of the later episodes ("The Tick vs. Prehistory") the Tick has just finished cleaning his sidekick's apartment. Suddenly a monkey materializes out of nowhere and trashes the clean apartment, prompting the Tick to exclaim, "Monkey outta nowhere!"
For us the name epitomizes fun and creativity. Words should be exciting, and if yours aren't maybe we should talk.
Tick comics are still readily available and the first season of the cartoon is available on DVD.
Can you really roller-skate?
Not only can Head Monkey Kevin Hendricks roller-skate, but he used to DJ at a roller rink in his junior high and early high school days. He can shoot the duck with the best of them on rollerblades or old school skates.
There's a higher demand for our writing and editing services, but if you'd like to hire us to roller-skate, we'd be happy to charge you.
